Kato-san is very active in the potter's community in Seto, he has organized many different types of events over the years. He started the Pottery Trail in Akazu almost 20 years ago in the hopes of bringing more interest to the area and it has been going on twice a year since then.

Kasen is hosting a ​Noborigama Firing again. Many Japanese potters from Seto will be participating. It should be an exciting event!
