Fermentation Jar - Mossy Stones
This stunning hand-carved fermentation jar is a great way to step into the world of fermentation in style. The lid sits between the 2 rims, which is filled with water to create an air lock, allowing gases to escape without having to physically degas the pot yourself; it also keeps bacteria out during the fermentation process. The lid can double as a bowl when not in use or when tasting your creations. Made from a lovely black clay and glazed in a deep mossy green.

Care Instructions
Never submerge hot ceramics in cold water. Please let them cool naturally before submerging in cold water.
While the clay has been vitrified (made less absorbent), unglazed portions can absorb water if left for long periods submerged. To reduce this risk, do not let it sit in a sink filled with water if you are not immediately going to wash it
