About Me.

Welcome to Yellow's Creations! I am thrilled to offer you unique handmade jewelry crafted from a stunning combination of sterling silver (925), Argentium silver (935), fine silver 999), gold, platinum, and precious gemstones. Additionally, I create beautiful stoneware pottery, with a special emphasis on Japanese-inspired tea ware.

Jewelry: As a completely self-taught artisan, I have always been captivated by the beauty and power of fire, which has inspired me to harness that energy in my creations. After exploring various books, I acquired the essential tools in 2005, and my journey began! Starting with filigree—one of my favorite techniques—I continuously experiment and expand my skill set, finding joy in every new technique I learn.

Pottery: My pottery journey began in 2012 with a weekly class in Belgium, but it wasn't until 2018, when I finally had space for a wheel at home, that I truly dedicated myself to the craft. While I was largely self-taught until 2019, I had the privilege of studying with two esteemed pottery masters in Japan: Kato Hiroshege, a 12th generation grand-master in Seto, and a renowned artist, Shibata Setsuro, in Tajimi.

In 2022-2025, following the reopening of Japan's borders, I was invited back by Kato-san to complete a six-month apprenticeship at studio, "Kitagama Kasen" to deepen my understanding of the rich Japanese ceramic tradition.

While my apprenticeship has come to and end, I fully intend to nurture the amazing relationships I have formed with my Japanese pottery family.

I founded Yellow's Creations in 2008 in Pennsylvania, and after getting married and relocating to Belgium, I have reestablished the brand as Yellow Monkey v.o.f.. Each piece is meticulously handmade by me from start to finish, allowing me complete control over the product. If you have any questions or can’t find exactly what you're looking, please feel free to reach out! Together, we can collaborate to bring your dream piece to life.
