Beautiful hand-thrown Japanese-inspired teacup called a Yunomi (湯のみ) made from a pink Japanese clay while working in a studio in Japan. The glaze is a style called Kohiki, white slip with an ash glaze over the slip. It is great for tea, but can be used for your favorite beverage.
- Fired to cone 13, making the clay very durable and less water-absorbent

Care Instructions
Never submerge hot ceramics in cold water. Please let them cool naturally before submerging in cold water.
While the clay has been vetrified (made less absorbant) unglazed portions can absorb water if left for long periods of time submerged. To reduce this risk do not let it sit in a sink filled with water if you are not immediatly going to wash it.
