Beautiful hand-thrown garlic roaster in black clay with a lovely pearly white and blue glaze. Great for roasting a whole bulb of garlic in the oven.

How to use:
1.) Chop the garlic in half, drizzle your favorite oil on both cut halves, and place on the roaster.
2.) Sprinkle with salt and pepper and add your favorite fresh herbs on top (preferably woody herbs like rosemary and thyme).
3.) Place in the oven at 150°C for about 20 min. Check for doneness when you start to smell the garlic.
4.) Take out of the oven with oven-mitts. Placing the roaster on a larger baking sheet can help remove it from the oven more easily.
5.) Remove the roasted garlic from the dry skin and use as desired. I love making a garlic spread for on homemade bread.

Never submerge hot ceramics in cold water. Please let them cool naturally before submerging in cold water.
While the clay has been vetrified (made less absorbant) unglazed portions can absorb water if left for long periods of time submerged. To reduce this risk do not let it sit in a sink filled with water if you are not immediatly going to wash it.
